歌曲背後的故事

某主日崇拜牧師領聖餐，他唸詩篇103:11-12時，神感動我，可以化之為一首詩歌的正歌。回家後，我重讀這段經文，並向神祈禱：「天父，袮讓我知道這經文成為詩歌的可能，我之後該如何作？」過了一會神對我說：「你照著讀的粵語音唱出來便可。」果真如此，令我十分興奮，感謝神！副歌由「主恩永在」開始，我的耳邊已響起旋律，下一句很自然就唱出來……整首歌便如此成就了！

Story behind the song

One Sunday morning during communion, our pastor read Psalm 103:11-12, God compelled me to turn this passage into the main verse of a song. Upon revisiting the verses at home, I prayed to God for guidance on how to proceed. After a while, God spoke to me. He urged me to sing the song in Cantonese, just as I had read the verses. Overwhelmed with excitement, I started with the chorus, “God's grace is here forever,” the melody ringed in my ears, and the subsequent verses flowed naturally, giving birth to the entire song. Praise the Lord!
